On this year’s Giving Tuesday, Capital Title and the other Homesuite companies (Insurance One, John Adams Mortgage/Total Home Lending, and Rental Management One) teamed up to host a Soup & Dessert fundraiser to benefit Forgotten Harvest, a local food bank that provides meals to those in need. The event was a huge success, with six delicious soups and an overwhelming variety of desserts that left attendees in awe.
The fundraiser took place at the Homesuite headquarters, where guests were treated to a warm and cozy atmosphere filled with the aroma of homemade soups and sweet treats. From crack chicken chili to creamy chicken lemon rice, the soups were a hit among attendees. However, it was the dessert table that truly stole the show, with an array of pies, cakes, cookies, and other indulgent treats that left guests struggling to not overindulge.
Beyond the delicious food, the event was an opportunity for Capital Title and Homesuite to give back to their community and support a worthy cause. Forgotten Harvest is a local nonprofit organization that distributes food to those in need across metro Detroit. With the ongoing pandemic and economic challenges, the need for food assistance has never been greater.
Capital Title and Homesuite were thrilled to see such a great turnout at the fundraiser, with many community members coming together to support Forgotten Harvest. The event raised over $700 and more money is still coming in for the organization, which will go towards providing meals for those in need. “We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Homesuite and support Forgotten Harvest,” said Megan Danneels of Insurance One (another Homesuite company). “It’s important for us to give back to our community and help those in need, especially during these challenging times. We are thrilled with the success of the fundraiser and look forward to continuing our partnership with Homesuite and Forgotten Harvest in the future.”
Capital Title and Homesuite would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who attended the fundraiser and supported Forgotten Harvest. With the help of the community, they were able to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
